About Treylor Park
Is Treylor Park dog friendly?
Yes! Treylor Park is dog friendly! Although you would not expect it as the front of the restaurant is on the busy E Bay St. The dog friendly entrance is somewhat clandestine around the corner and through the alleyway. It is basically a back patio bar, covered and enclosed which always gets two paws up from us. Safety first! Here you will find bar seating and a few four-top tables. There are heaters and fans and one TV if you want to catch the latest round of the Puppy Bowl.
Food Situation:
Let’s just say today would not be a good day to start the keto diet. This place is full of creative, southern bar food fare. Number one on your list to try should be the PB&J wings. If you are really going for the gusto, dive into the Treylor Park Nachos Grande made with waffle fries and fried chicken. Who knew that was a thing? They offer a decadent list of sandwiches, tacos, flatbreads and a few greens. You can finish it all off with none other than a Fried Oreo and then proceed to order one of those fancy Savannah pedicabs to wheel you on home.
Drink Situation:
Treylor Park is festive and their drink menu matches this vibe. They have a furbulous list of signature cocktails ranging from a light vodka and elderflower based Illegally Blonde to a playful Grapeful Dead concoction that mixes Grape Kool-Aid Vodka and gummy bears. The mini wine list is there if needed but really who needs a Nebbiolo with their nachos? Stick to the well-made cocktails and the quality beer offerings which by the way include many crafts on draft and some college throwbacks in the can like PBR and Natty Light.
Location and Other Tips:
Treylor Park is smack in the middle of the historic zone and within walking distance of many of our favorite pet friendly hotels in Savannah. Popular with tourists and SCAD students it is one block from the river and one block from historic Reynolds Square. The back entrance makes it safer from traffic than some of the restaurants with on-street sidewalk seating. It is also close to the small Emmet Park if your pup is in need of some green space which also will allow you to do a pop-in to the Wheelie Good Dog Treats store as well.
