About The Olde Pink House
Is The Olde Pink House Dog Friendly?
Yes!  The Olde Pink House is dog friendly, and it makes our curated list of the best pet friendly places in Savannah, GA! There are three dog-friendly outdoor tables just outside the festive bar seating area. Be sure to contact them ahead of time to request seating in the dog-friendly area. When we called, they said they could not reserve one for us as they were unsure if they were going to set them up due to the weather. It was recommended to us by many locals and visitors, so we took the chance and were able to be seated within 15 minutes. Our recommendation is that it is worth the effort but to have a backup plan just in case! If you are in a group and someone can hold the pup outside, be sure to go in and check out the different rooms. Part of the popularity and charm of this place is from the different vibes in each of the rooms. Dating from the 1770s, the mansion has an elaborate history which you will find a full write-up on the back of your menu.
Food Situation:
Upscale, Low Country cuisine is a good description of what you will find at the Olde Pink House. Our group particularly liked the Crispy Scored Flounder, the BLT Salad and thought the Southern Sushi was tasty and unique. Â The menu includes many tasty comfort foods but with creative twists such as the Pecan Crusted Chicken Breast with blackberry bourbon glaze and Fried Green Tomatoes with Applewood smoked bacon, and sweet corn cream.
Drink Situation:
They have a full bar with a few signature cocktails and a nice wine list heavy on California producers with a mix of a few old-world wines.
Location and Other Tips:
Located just off of Reynolds Square in the historic district, the Olde Pink House is within dog-walking distance of most of the hotels and close to the riverfront. The dog-friendly seating is on a large sidewalk along a quiet street where cars are few and moving slow. If you end up having a wait for your table, you can grab a drink at the casual Treylor Park a little over a block away which has covered outdoor seating in the back. Tip if you go there: enter in the back off of East Bay Lane which is less of a walk from the Olde Pink House.
