Is The Lost Square dog friendly?
Yes! The Lost Square rooftop bar is dog friendly! Perched atop the dog-friendly Alida hotel, this modern and stylish cocktail bar offers ample seating, great views, and delicious cocktails. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a sunset with your furry and human friends.
Food Situation:
Open later in the day, the bar offers small bites as well as a few proper main courses until 9 pm. The food here is two steps up from your basic bar food. You can’t go wrong with the small plates like Cheddar Drop Biscuits with Cheerwine glaze and country ham or the Smoked Shrimp Dip with saltine crackers and dilly beans. The Lost Square is also a sister to the tasty Rhett restaurant downstairs, so you will find a few of the Rhett’s items on the menu as well. Don’t forget to check out if they have any special seasonal offerings. When we last visited in the winter, they had adorable ski chalet-type seating with a special cheesy Raclette experience for groups of 6. Yum!
Drink Situation:
Craft cocktails are the focus here with some creative concoctions like the Bless Her Heart with English Breakfast tea infused Vodka and the Monkey Fist which somehow combines small batch bourbon with absinthe. I was a personal fan of the gin-based Time and Again and our group found the draft beer list to hit the spot and was also happy to see that the small wine list was thoughtful and from a variety of countries.
Location and Other Tips:
You can’t beat a rooftop with 360 views of the city and the river. Located in the pet friendly Alida hotel, near the riverfront and the historic district makes this a great spot to bring your pup. It is safe from road traffic and adjacent to the riverfront walkway if you want a post-rooftop stroll.
