Is Slightly North of Broad Restaurant dog friendly?
Yes! S.N.O.B is dog friendly. Slightly North of Broad offers 4 pet friendly outdoor tables along the sidewalk lining East Bay Street. The tables do not have umbrellas, but they are positioned under awnings. The staff here was super friendly to our pup. This is not the place to take your dog if they are nervous, as there is no barrier to the bustling street and sidewalk traffic.
Food Situation:
S.N.O.B. focuses on fresh, local ingredients for their Lowcountry menu. Shrimp & Grits, Pork Chop, and Duck Breast were favorite entrees in our group. They also offer a lunch menu during the week. Brunch on weekends has a nice Southern twist with Eggs Benedict served on a buttermilk biscuit and French Toast paired with Fried Chicken.
Drink Situation:
S.N.O.B. offers a great selection of beverages for all tastes. Starting off with a well-thought-out specialty cocktail list with some unique twists like the Bitter Figroni and the Charleston GG&T. The beer list is small but has a mix of craft and basic domestic. The wine list is quite nice, with a good mix of old and new world. We were happy to see a favorite Lapierre Gamay on this list! As I have mentioned before, anywhere I can get an awesome glass of wine and hang out with my dog will be a place that will forever have my business. Two paws up!
Location and Other Tips:
The location of S.N.O.B is good and bad. The bad is that the seating is along the sidewalk of a fairly busy road. The good is that the fairly busy road is in the heart of the historic district. Walk from lunch/brunch to a tour, catch a carriage ride or walk two blocks to get to the waterfront park. At the end of the waterfront park, you will also find the East Bay off-leash dog park.
