Is Myrtle & Rose dog friendly?
Yes! Myrtle & Rose is dog friendly! Yeah! We love a good rooftop bar that allows our fur babies to chill with us over a libation and a sunset. The vibe here is hip and trendy with a variety of seating area from tables to lounge chairs and couches. Some of the seating is covered and there is a smattering of umbrellas, fans and heaters. Reservations are available for the Jazz Brunch only.
Food Situation:
Myrtle & Rose has a list of small plates from Deviled Eggs to Tuna Crudo and more plus a nice-looking veggie Quinoa Tabbouleh Wrap. For brunch, they have a few more offerings including a Myrtle Benedict, French Toast and Bourbon Pancakes. Yes Bourbon. :) Only in the south kids… Only in the south.
Drink Situation:
Myrtle & Rose is a definitely a cocktail bar. It has a small list of beers and wines (including a nice Crémant to pair with brunch) but their focus here is spirits. We like that they have two unique nods to some French spirits. The Green Fairy or Absinthe is rarely a focus on a bar menu as it is here as well as one of our all-time favorite southern France day drinks, Pastis.
Location and Other Tips:
Myrtle & Rose is located on the rooftop of one of the JW Marriott’s Plant Riverside District’s buildings. Located right on the riverfront, the rooftop offers views of the river and yeah! a respite from street traffic.
