Is Moon River Brewing Company dog friendly?
Yes! Moon River Brewing Company is dog friendly! They have an enclosed beer garden most of which is covered. You can belly up to the bar or sit at one of the many four-tops or picnic tables. The seating includes a mix of benches, stools and proper chairs for those of us who like the creature comforts in our beer garden. Much of the seating is covered but there are many sunny seats and umbrellas, heaters and fans. Although it is right off the busy W Bay Street, the garden is enclosed with one door so unless your pup is one to dart away from you, it feels pretty safe and spacious. A bonus if you are a sports fan is that you can sit at the bar or one of the close by high tops and catch the latest game with your pup in tow.
Food Situation:
This is your typical bar menu but we liked that they gave us beer pairings to choose from. Open for lunch and dinner, this would be a great spot for a casual pup birthday celebration.
Drink Situation:
Moon River Brewing is of course a brewery so there are quite a few of their own brews on tap as well as a “guest” draft beer list full of other local favorites. They also have a full bar with some fun signature cocktails and a small (actually for a brewery it is large!) wine list.
Location and Other Tips:
Moon River is in the heart of the historic district right on the busy W Bay St (but as I mentioned before, the beer garden is enclosed) so it is in walking distance of pretty much every pet friendly hotel we have reviewed. It is a block away from the riverfront and close to Johnson Square if your pup is in need of a little green space.
