Is 82 Queen Dog Friendly?
Yes! 82 Queen is dog friendly, and it makes our curated list of the best pet friendly places in Charleston, SC. They offer plenty of outdoor seating in the beautiful garden that is tucked away through a skinny passageway off of the way of street and sidewalk traffic. There is a larger table under a covered gazebo with a ceiling fan and many smaller tables with umbrellas for sunny days and heaters for chilly nights. Our server was very friendly and accommodating to our pup, who enjoyed the chilled-out garden atmosphere.
Food Situation:
Southern fresh and seasonal fare is served at 82 Queen with a very popular She Crab Soup and delicious Braised Beef Short Ribs. For lunch, a very tasty find is the Southern Tomato Pie with its decadent biscuit crust, cheeses and applewood smoked bacon. If you are a tomato fan, that one is a winner.
Drink Situation:
82 Queen has a full bar with specialty cocktails, a small beer list of craft and domestic options, and a very nice selection of California and some international wines.
Location and Other Tips:
82 Queen is in the heart of the historic French Quarter and is a perfect stop before or after touring as well as for dinner as it is within walking distance of many pet friendly hotels. We stopped in for lunch before our pet-friendly Bulldog Historic Walking tour, which met right down the street from 82 Queen.
