About 27 State Street Bed and Breakfast
Lovely three-room B&B, each with a private bath and personal entrance from the beautiful courtyard or breezy veranda. The rooms are located within the early 18th Century building’s original stables!
27 State Street Bed and Breakfast Pet Policy
Yes, it is paw-sible to bring dogs to 27 State Street B&B. You may bring one per room, up to 50 lbs. (They love cats too but cannot allow them to stay due to allergens & cleaning challenges.) A non-refundable fee of $95 will apply for the first 5 days of your stay. After the 5th day, an additional fee of $30 per day will be charged. A crate is required without exception: your pet is not to be left alone in the room without being crated. Your pet must be bathed, clean, well-behaved, and leashed. Call in advance to discuss, as your pet must be approved by the manager prior to your reservation.

Leashed dogs are welcome in the Courtyard and Veranda at 27 State Street B&B. There’s plenty of seating and tables to enjoy the breeze and the view, as well as the daily gourmet continental breakfast on the Veranda (included with your stay!)

Within the boundaries of the original walled city of old Charleston, you’ll find the serene locale of 27 State Street B&B. They have a prime location along the carriage tour lines and within a few blocks of historic sites, dining, galleries, theaters, shopping, and the Pineapple Fountain in the waterfront park. It’s the ulti-mutt oasis for an active stay in Charleston! (Note: The Park is the best spot for your pup to relieve themselves, but there are a few grass locations and a safe, wide alley nearby for quick trips as needed!)
