About Seneca Park
Is Seneca ParkDog Friendly?
Yes! Dogs on leashes are welcome in Seneca Park. Located within the city of Louisville close to downtown (and adjacent to the more naturalistic Cherokee Park), entry into Seneca Park is free, and the park is open year-round from 6:00 AM until 11:00 PM.
Seneca Park is best known for its 1.2-mile oval walking/running path, the perfect spot to exercise with your furbulous friend and travel companion. The oval path is paved and flat. You’ll find restrooms along the way and pass tennis and volleyball courts. In September, Seneca Park hosts the popular Bark in the Park 5k & Family Festival. Please note that dogs must be leashed at all times in Seneca Park.
