Yes, Palmetto Carriage Works is dog-friendly and allows well-behaved, leashed dogs to join their owners on carriage tours of historic Charleston. Guests who choose to bring a dog(s) on the tour must purchase an entire row (~$200) of the carriage to ensure everyone’s comfort.
Take a tour of downtown Charleston on one of the 16-seat carriages pulled by horses that are owned and operated by the Doyle family who has led Palmetto Carriage Works since 1971. The city tours run throughout the day in the Residential District, and into the evening, where you will ride through the Commercial District and down by the waterfront.
