The Asheville Mast General Store opened in 1999, but its building dates back to the 1940s (formerly Fain’s Department Store.) Located on Biltmore Ave, just off Pack Square, it’s one of the city’s oldest & most popular areas. The store is a bit country, gifty and fun – with a pet section! It’s cute and worth popping in. Close to the pet friendly Kimpton Arras and the Aloft hotels and a lovely, pet-friendly restaurant, Posana.
