Magnificent Mile – Chicago, IL

Yes, the Magnificent Mile is dog-friendly and makes our curated list of the best dog-friendly things to do in Chicago. The Mag Mile is known far and wide as a world-class shopping/dining destination, but it’s also a world-class pet-friendly destination as well. Many stores, restaurants, and hotels near the Mag Mile let pups play too.

Within the Mag Mile, there are over 450 retailers. Some of those stores, including Nordstrom, Lush, and The Shops at North Bridge, are dog-friendly. Although not all of the area’s retailers will get your pup’s tail wagging, they’ll at least enjoy the stroll along Michigan Avenue. There are a million photo opportunities along the way as well, our favorite being beside the tulips in the springtime.

One reason we love the Mag Mile is that it’s also located within easy walking or driving distance from some of our favorite pet-friendly hotels in Chicago. These nearby accommodations include Sofitel Chicago, the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, and the Thompson Chicago.
