Lake Seminole Park – Seminole, FL

Lake Seminole Park covers 258 acres and is a designated wildlife habitat and sanctuary. Located in Seminole about 25 minutes from both St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg, Lake Seminole Park features many miles of paved walking trails, including a convenient 2-mile loop and a 1-mile loop, much of which is shaded from the Florida sunshine. The two scenic loops are perfect for a leisurely walk or a more vigorous run. Do you also have human children? If so, you’ll find multiple playgrounds (as well as picnic shelters and restroom facilities). Because it’s a wildlife sanctuary, Lake Seminole Park is home to raccoons, alligators (rare), hawks, snakes (even more rare), eagles, turtles, and more, so we suggest you and your furry friend stick to the paved trails.
