Forsyth Park | Savannah, GA
A beautiful tree-lined park with ample pet photo ops in the heart of Savannah
About Forsyth Park
Is Forsyth ParkDog Friendly?
Yes! Forsyth Park is pet friendly! Leashed pets are welcome in all parts of the park with the exception of the Nature Center.
More Info:
At 30 acres, Forsyth Park is Savannah’s largest offering a great opportunity for a nice long walk with your pup. Many of the pathways are shaded by beautiful old trees and there are benches and water fountains along the way. (We still always recommend bringing your own water if possible. The Savannah heat in the summer can be “ruff”.) There is a farmers market on the weekends and you will run into lots of other furry friends here with their visiting, as well as local, humans in tow. One of our favorite brunch spots is also located in the park. Pop into the Collins Quarter for a morning coffee or afternoon mimosa. It is a great spot for people and pup-watching. Lastly, don’t forget to stop at the iconic fountain for a pawsome pet photo op.
